Overview
About Me
I am here again after a 9+ years break for family life.
I am Polish/Danish, and I spent some of my life also living in the Czech Republic and Switzerland/Austria.
Currently I share my life between Næstved (where I live) and Copenhagen and Lodz/Krakow/Rzeszow/Mielno in Poland. Næstved is 40 mins train ride from Copenhagen city center and 60 mins from its airport. I travel between these two cities sometimes, so I might be able to pick you up on the way to my place or the other way round.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd rather spend my money on dinners and entertainment with people than on hotels. The same goes my way - I'd rather share my shower and guest room to allow someone save money or spend it on something better than a hotel room.
I want to meet locals, listen to stories, hear/see different perspectives, and help people travel cheaper. Maybe also give them a piece of advice if they ask?
People who travel tend to have a very open minds which is what I am looking for in people. I also love eating stuff I never tried - in someone's kitchen, eating with hands, sitting on floor, not in some fancy restaurant.
Interests
I enjoy everything offline as I work in the IT area from Monday to Thursday. Padel, swimming, hiking, cooking, reading books and finding unknown films made between 30-00s.
I travel mostly on feet - I walk 20-30 km every day to visit places in a very slow pace.

Music, Movies, and Books
Big band, swing, and jazz from 30-40s. Polish blues and rock. Electronic classics from 90 and 00s. Rock ballads from 80s and 90s.
Ayn Rand and almost all her books.
Carlito's Way, Heat, The Godfather, Zezowate Szczescie, How I started the II World War, Interstate 60, The Slick, and many more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed an alpine trail in Liechtenstein, thinking that it was a "usual one" - with no prep and lots of stress/struggle and nice views in the end.
I did a tiger-jump from Verzasca Dam like in 007 did in Golden Eye from 1997.
I never had Facebook/Insta/TikTok, etc.
Did 60 km walk in Prague during 40+ degrees day - run mostly on beers. Borovka 8.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everything that gets my interest - from running a golf club to production of metal profiles for LED lighting.
