About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Writing a book about the experiences I had while walking across America to raise money for St.Jude Children's Research Hospital

ABOUT ME

I recently finished walking across America to raise money for St.Jude Children's Research Hospital. My journey took me through 23 states and Washington D.C. I'm a musician, vegetarian, bohemian, and a philanthropist. Currently I am writing a book about the experiences I had walking across America. People seem to describe me as quiet and easy going. I have a curious personality and often times I like hearing about other's life stories.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like educating people who have never heard about Couchsurfing. People often find it strange that a person would allow a stranger into their home to stay for a few days. Throughout my travels across the U.S. I have met people who signed up to host people after I showed them what Couchsurfing was all about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some terrific people on this site who I have become friends with. Couchsurfing gives a person the opportunity to meet people they might not ordinarily meet. It has been great to meet people from other parts of the world, different backgrounds, and lifestyles.

Interests

Philanthropy, music, knowledge, art, thrift shopping, gadgetry, film, flea markets, veggies, hippies, walking, nature, food, DIY projects, skateboarding, 80s pop culture, day-dreaming, travel, chess, drive-in theaters and some other cool stuff.

Music, Movies & Books

Movie - Where does one begin. I like movies from all genres whether they be silent films or big budget summer blockbusters. I have watched a lot films!

Music - This is another one of those things where I tend to like a lot of different styles. I know a lot of people say this but it's true. I listen to everything from death metal to classical.

Books - When I used to read more I read classic sci-fi and horror novels. I think my favorites are Frankenstein and Interview With The Vampire. I'm always open to suggestions too.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Since I started my walk across the United States I've met some incredible people, whether it was through Couchsurfing or a random encounter. People have shown me a great deal of kindness and generosity.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've spend the last several years discovering new things about myself. If I could one thing to others it would be to be kind to their fellow human, the planet, and animals.
