We are now on a year off, travelling around Europe for a few months. That's why we can't host anyone this year.

Marion :
I'm 30 years old and I usually work as an occupational therapist in a rehabilitation center.
I'm quite calm. I like nature and outdoors sports (horse riding, dog trekking, kayak, cycle...).
I enjoy meeting people, spending time with them and sharing some experiences. I like playing boardgames and outside games too (molky, ...). This year I would like to explore self improvement techniques (yoga, mindfullness, NVC and so on). If you know or practice some, I'm interested.

Nicolas :
I'm 28. I'm a regular person who likes nature, animals, ordinary cooking, TV shows, and so on. I'm also pretty geek, probably because I'm a web-developer. I would like to learn about ecoconstruction and sustainability, and maybe we'll be able to start some project of our own when we return back in France. If we return.

Indiana :
She is our lovely Australian Shepherd dog. She's very friendly with everyone. She loves hiking. She knows a few tricks and children love that each time ! Even those who were afraid of dogs initially. We're sorry for parents with children that if after meeting Indiana, their children end up wanting a dog for their birthday ^^
And yes, she's travelling with us this year. So she's used to different places and people. She'll stay quiet.

PHILOSOPHY

We think mutual assistance is necessary and should be more developed. We both are (well... were) first-aid workers. We like helping people around us. Marion worked as a volunteer in Morocco. This year (2016) we'll be traveling across Europe, using helpx, workaway and woof to volunteer here and there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We joined because we would like to share with native people while traveling, or people living there. This is the best way to know a country, it's culture. We've heard about the site by a roommate who had some experiences as a couchsurfer. And we both are excited beeing a part of it !
We had our own experiences by now, only good ones ! Mostly as hosts, we would like to experiment the guest side this year. Don't be afraid of our dog, every one loves her. Give her a chance. Check our references...
