Bonjour the couchsurfing community :)

We are Marion & Maxime, a french couple currently living in Paris. Maxime is originally from Burgundy, the beautiful french region full of good wine ! Beside of wine, he's also passionate with his creative job: product designer. I (Marion) grew up all around the world with my parents, and I'm working in the associative field.

After few years in Paris, we decided to travel around the world during one year (January 2022 - January 2023). We are planning to go to (roughly) 12 countries in order to write a book. In this book we will do portraits of young inspiring people who believe that the culture / the history / all the specificities of their countries deserve to be protected and valorized. Maxime will be in charge of the photographic part of the book.

We decided to reach this network because we hope we'll meet nice and welcoming people who will make us discover a part of their homeland (or not), their everyday life and make our sightseeing more exciting ! That can also be a good way to meet some of the inspiring people we want to interview for our book.

We both already traveled quite a bit, and had amazing memories in different countries: seeing a vulcano in eruption in Guatemala during the night, meeting Jane Goodall in Tanzania, experiencing great parties with Georgians, etc
