I grew up in the Swiss Alps and am a hiker at heart. Love being outdoor, traveling, discovering new food, places and people. Currently taking advantage of my last long student summer to travel around Sweden!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is an amazing way to travel while meeting new people! There is no better way to immerse yourself in a place and culture than by sharing a slice of life with its people! An original way to travel, cheaper but also way more enriching than your conventional hotel formula :)

Interests

I love everything outdoors, and especially hiking. I am also a huge food enthusiast and love trying new things and share my good recipes. I can knit and play the piano some. I am endlessly curious and always happy to learn and discover more :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The whole van and trekking trip in the middle of nowhere in China. Stunning sceneries, strenuous but rewarding hikes, wonderful wonderful locals, going to sleep on the rooftop of a house in Tibet, couldn't fall asleep, too busy watching the clearest nightsky I had ever seen.
A surprise close encounter with a lynx in a park in LA (emphasis on the suprise and the close!), absolutely unforgettable.
Getting to have my first paragliding experience be a winter moonlit descent from the top of a snowy mountain, losing one of my shoe at takeoff and making it to the bottom of the valley without frostbite! Stunningly beautiful experience! Glad to still have all my toes!
