I'm a 35 french woman, who hasn't lived in France for the past 12 years... I've been living in Buenos Aires Argentina for 11 years, and I just spent 1 year in Chile.
Travelling and meeting new people is something I'm good at.
I can talk too much sometimes, but I love to listen to other people's stories, how they got where they are, what determined their life decisions... and it's even better around a bottle of good wine.
I'm omnivorous, but I totally understand vegetarian and vegan people.
I smoke, but I understand non-smokers and respect not to smoke in their presence.
I'm an atheist, but I love to talk about religion.
I'm not interested in how much money you make or the way you dress or where you studied as long as you believe in respect for others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch because I have friends using it who have had amazing experiences. It seems to be a very entertaining network of interesting people all over the world.

Interests

I love trekking, and basically every outdoor activity (kayak, windsurf, sailing, hiking....)
I don't read as much as I'd like and each time I go to a museum, I think I should go more often...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is very important to me although I listen to many different styles.
The Grateful Dead is one of my favorite bands, but to name a few others that come to my mind as I'm writing: Jose Gonzalez, Nick Cave, The Mountain Goats, Andrew Bird, Jurassic 5, The Doors, Jacques Brel, Robagh Wruhme... I will never finish the list! Basically, jazz, funk music, indie rock, classical music also, rock, electronic music... but I'm picky and in all those styles, there are things I don't like.

As for movies, I like a movie to make me think, to surprise me or make me smile or cry...

I usually read novels or books about subjects that matter to me. Lately, I'm mainly asking people to recommend books because there are so many I don't like to waste time reading something boring...
