Overview
About Me
Travelling is my lifestyle. Working for VIA rail Canada, I spend my entire summers on a passenger train going from one end of the country to the other. I absolutely adore it, long hours and all. During the winter, I have 6 months off and I have come to love the nomad life. I am a very laid back person, I practice meditation and daily gratitude. I have a Buddhist mindset, per se. I have almost completed a degree in Environmental Sciences and I plan to build a tiny home in Manitoba, Canada within the next few years. Prior to VIA rail, I was a nature interpreter at Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre (i.e. nature guide) for 3 years. Educating children and adults of all ages about nature and its beauty is my passion. I find happiness in all I do, life is too short to be worried or unhappy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would love to meet local, interesting people whilst travelling. I have heard great things about couchsurfing and I think it would be the best way to experience a new culture. I'd love to get local travelling tips from people who know their area. Meanwhile, I am happy to return the favor and offer my couch to Winnipeg explorers. I would love to show you around or at least tell you all about us Winnipegers and how we are able to survive our mighty winters.
