About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy the life, every day!

ABOUT ME

After almost five years living abroad (Mexico, Argentina, England), I'm back to my native city in France: Nantes. A wonderful place that is worth to visit!

About me? I rekon I'm a joyful and friendly person. I'm imaginative, creative, passionate, daydreamer and utopist sometimes? I love to discover, to share, to meet people from everywhere.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in diversity, in exchanges, transfers, mixing. I try to discover and to understand the world as it is: mulicultural, wonderful and elaborated.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hosted several times, all of them where great moments. I met very nice people, lovely personalities, and when I leave a couchsurfer place, I always feel different, richer from the experience! Some couchsurfers became really good friends, everytime I had the opportunity to stay a bit longer in a city.

I'd like to host more people. I think that some problems have prevented it: I used to live abroad until now, my own places were really small or shared with other people that were not so keen on couchsurfing :(. And it seems that nobody wants to go in my family's place, next to Nantes, hahaha! I barely have couch requests, that's a pity!!
So, I promise, when I get a real flat to live, I'll make up for the lost time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed several times in couchsurfers' places, in Barcelona, San Sebastian, Girona (Spain), Morelia (Mexico), Brighton... All were fantastic experiences.

My family received a mexican boy at home while I was travelling. Unfortunately I couldn't meet him, but the experience seemed to be successful: two months afterwards, my family was still talking about l'adorable Damian'....

Interests

Cinema, arts, music, cultural events, natural places, sport (trekking), dreams, hopes, laughs, and so much more! Travels of course, which are a mix of all of that...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: soft electro (Thievery Corporation, Federico Aubele, Wax Tailor), jazz (Nora Jones, and 'classicals' Louis Armstrong Nat King Cole Billie Holiday Ella Fitzgerald), soft rock, sounds of the world (brasilian bossa nova, Susheela Rahman, Rokia Traoré, Lila Downs)...
Art: photography and modern and contemporary painting and artcraft...
Books: the lastest I've read and enjoyed: Alessandro Baricco, Mario Vargas Llosa

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I've done too much crazy things to notice it here, and I hope that it will go on!
An example: a temazcal (traditional aztecan ceremony)with some mexican friends: strong, surrealist, inforgettable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach french and spanish, drawing and painting. Above all: I really love to cook! French and mexicain food are my strong points!

I want to learn how to play better the guitare, and more english speaking!
