ABOUT ME

I am married to Nugget, yes Nugget, and we have 3 beautiful grown up children who all live away from home.Our eldest son and his fiance live in Sydney, our youngest son, his partner and baby son live in Grafton and our daughter lives with her partner in Brisbane.
Nugget and I are both 55 years "old"....we are very young at heart and love enjoying time spent with friends and family.
We enjoy a wine and a beer and listening to music. Our music tastes range from Pink Floyd to Counting Crows....with lot of choices in between!
We live in a big house overlooking the Clarence River near Grafton in Northern NSW, Australia.Our house is an older one but comfy.
We own a speed boat and all the family water ski whenever they can get home. We are happy to take guests in the boat and Nugget is an experienced Water Ski instructor.
We have cats and a small dog. We also have chickens and roosters.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have an Empty Nest so have 2 spare Queen bedrooms in the house for guests
We also have a self contained flat which is adjacent to the house. It has its own bedroom (1 queen)kitchen, shower room and living room

We have 3 cats but they live outside most of the time. We also have chickens and roosters.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had the pleasure of two Hosting Couch Surfing experiences and have heard all about my Brother and Sister-in-law's fantastic couch surfing experiences.

Música, películas y libros

Not so much movies as music. We have a varied taste in music and like lots of old and new....current favorites include Passenger, Counting Crows, Neil Young and Rodriguez as we are fortunate enough to be seeing all of these artists live over the next few months.
Book preferences are also varied...like a good murder mystery but also bios.

We have been married for 28years which we think is pretty amazing! and we have 3 wonderful children, the youngest 2 are twins.....so that was an amazing experience.We have been fortunate enough to live in a fantastic country which is far far away from many other places in the World. We have been lucky enough to travel to Europe for a short time but know that there is so much more out there to explore and experience.
Recently we welcomed our first Grandchild into the family, a beautiful baby boy born in October.

Our life skills are varied, and we have done a little bit of many things, including nursing, aged care, farming, and mental health. we can build things and craft things and are just happy to share our life experiences.
