ABOUT ME

So far I haven't been able to stay at one place for more than 2 years. I get impatient and need to travel, see the world and meet new people. In 2013 I did a big 10-month trip with a very good friend of mine, during which I met my current boyfriend, an Aussie. I have decided that Australia could be just as good a country as France, and have moved to Sydney in March 2014. I am now looking for exciting adventure in and outside of Australia, because I am NOT ready to give up traveling, and there is some serious travel to do here in Oz.

People say about me that I am a funny person (French funny, so a bit sarcastic, by prepared!), always smiling and willing to discover new things.

PHILOSOPHY

Optimism is the key to personal happiness. There's always a bright side to any situation, we just need to find it!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I travel with Couchsurfing because I don't think a travel experience is complete if you don't have a local showing you or telling you where the real stuff is.

I have hosted Couchsurfers back in Estonia and in Brussels, and participated in CS events. Most of my 10-month travel in South America last year was with Couchsurfing, I have met incredible people over there, and expect to host them as soon I have the space.

兴趣

Anything that makes noise : music, of course, but also conversations, laughs, silences... Everything you hear, and everything you cannot hear!

I also like being outdoors, hiking (especially since I quit smoking last year!), drinking good wine, sharing stories, talking, dancing, eating.

I'm a TV show, almost all of them... Can't pick one!

I read many books, no preference. Anything that has been advised to me, or that has a nice cover (I know, don't judge a book by its cover... But it's sooo tempting!)

I listen to a lot of different styles of music, it depends on my mood, the weather, the news... But primarily electro swing, French music, Charlie Winston, and others.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've skydived on the Canadian Great Lakes and bungie-jumped in France. I've walked on the frozen Baltic Sea. I've fed an alligator in Burkina Faso, and climbed the Machu Picchu in Peru. I've visited the Angkor Temples in Cambodia, and just started discovering scuba-diving : a whole new world is opening to me. Just awesome.

I can cook very well some French food! As long as you have an oven I am willing to share my cooking skills :-)

And I've been working as a French and English teacher, I love learning and leaching languages, so I'm always up to give a hand with translation and some practice!
