ABOUT ME

I'm 21. Really? I didn't realise I was that old. I
I'm a scrabble fanatic and would hope to be able to bring a bag of lovely wooden letters with me wherever I go. I'm keen to travel and I want to see more of the world but I'm not so keen on short distance trips on fuel guzzling aeroplanes so you will see me at the roadside shortly trying to cadge a lift.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm someone who loves to travel and stay put... making homes as I go along. I'd rather have 12 months in one place than visit 12 places in one month.Travel is never a subsitute in my mind for getting to know a culture - whether that be your own, nearby or far away.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hitchhiked a bizzillion miles to Budapest and back and along the way we couchsurfed whenever we could.I'm discovering Help X at the moment (like couchsurfing, a bit except not because you get fed in exchange for working)
I don't have my own place at the moment and so can't offer my own couch but I am happy to meet people and show them around Edinburgh. and I am encouraging my friends to open up their couches for surfing too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

been welcomed into people's homes with such warmth. Taught and been taught in vibrant foreign schools.
Partied hard and relaxed among friends in some of the most beautiful places.
