About Me

I like to listen to and make music, I like good food and good coffee. Meeting friends, going out, playing cards or chess. Always up for open discussion and new points of view.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people from all over the world, to exchange stories, and to learn from each other's perspectives and life styles. I think, Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to connect with people that can teach you about their world.

It always amazed me how many kind people are out there. I did Couchsurfing in Germany, Spain, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay (often with my girlfriend, using her account). Always had great conversations and unforgettable experiences.

Interests

I like to play the piano, trying to get into jazz piano and improvisation, however I am just at the beginning of that journey. Also, I practice Muay Thai and Boxing. When having access to a workshop, I enjoy woodworking and other craftmanship a lot. I always need some outlet for creative energy.
Finally, I love the mountains and go climbing, hiking and mountaineering from time to time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mainly I listen to different kinds of hip hop and rap. Mostly German, but also American, British, and most recently Spanish. Some of my favorite artists: Prezident, Morlockk Dilemma, Kase.O, Ocean Wisdom, MF Doom, Vico C., Amewu, JID, Hopsin, SFDK

However, I also like to listen to jazz and blues, which I especially enjoy at live events. For dancing in clubs I prefer techno, and I like latin dances, especially Salsa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The kindness and hospitality of people all over the world. A beduine that invited me and a friend on tea and stew, surrounded by his goats in the Jordanian desert. Wandering through the the jungle in the rain, and reaching summits above the clouds. Being gifted handicrafts in a Chilean bakery.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversation, food, beer and a couch to sleep on.

Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Montenegro, Poland, Spain, Uruguay
