About Me

Live, Laugh, and Love!

About me: A happy girl, a very curious soul:) I have an open, considerate mind, I love to live an active lifestyle.

My philosophy is that the key to living a happy life, is thinking big thoughts and relishing small pleasures. In the end, it's what you manage to pass on to others, that really matters. Life is precious - be kind!

Even though I am an achiever, and probably working too much with all my projects, I also like to just stop; and listen. I love people, I enjoy nice conversations, sun, rain, the change of seasons. I like to sing when nobody's listening, and what's better than seeing morning dew on Mediterranean spring flowers, or the North wind playing with colourful autumn leafs. I like all sorts of food, I enjoy dancing, I love tropical fruits, and my heart's beating for my very smart and gorgeous five year old son Isaac.

I love being active; swimming, boxing, Body Combat...I work out about one hour a day. I love fresh fruit and coffee in the morning, summer wine and deep talks in the evening, I love hot spices, I really enjoy intercultural communication in action, I love all nature, I'm the worst skier ever but I really love fast sleigh rides, I like to spend time with animals and especially dogs, I've got a holistic life view; I love metaphysics, spirituality, science and psychology.

I strongly believe that the attitude you choose will form your whole life, and I also believe that if you realy really want something you'll find a way, if you don't you'll find an excuse.

I have, like most others, fought my own battles through life, but I believe it's more logic to look at all experience as a very valuable expertise - instead of making it become an insurmountable obstacle! :-)

"Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, it's at the end of your arm, as you get older, remember you have another hand: The first is to help yourself, the second is to help others.” - Audrey Hepburn

I love to learn! The most precious thing I have (or, borrow): My lovely little boy, five years old. He is my everything. He is a little angel (with dirt on his wings.:). The most beautiful creature ever, with the biggest and clearest blue eyes. I hope you get to meet him, he's the coolest dude I know!

Currently I am a full time student of business & marketing and working part-time with setting up my own business.

For the future I've set a goal: To love what I do, to be best at it, and to be a resource for others.

My plans also include among many other things...perfecting my Spanish, continue learning German and Italian, becoming really good at at least one type of dance, study more communication, visit even more places in this beautiful world, get a pilot certificate, take singing lessons, write a book.. :)

Before you see a change in your world, you must first change how you see the world. Or simply be the change you want to see in the world:-)Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to.Reach for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land among the stars!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

What you give is what you get!

If you have the possibility and ability to help - never hesitate!

I participate as much as I can, I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once ;D

Feel free to ask me, I will try my best! :-) Regarding some of your questions, it's perhaps faster and easier to have a look at these links:

Visit Norway, Lonely Planet, Oslo Guide, Fjord Guide.

Her you can buy Train tickets, bus tickets or ferry tickets.

Prices in Norway will surprise you, yes. Unfortunately it is quite expensive- but still worth it!

Regarding getting a job in Norway:
Try finn.no or nav.no You might find something there ;)

In general: just GREAT:)So far the majority of the CS ppl I've met are just amazing people, some of them are now really close friends of mine.
I'm careful, cos the bad experiences do exist, of course, but no disasters ;P
In general; I am so glad that I've been given this opportunity to meet new people, thank you CS. This site is literally life-changing.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

You can't compare that to anything else. THAT is amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

"Trust me, it's paradise. This is where the hungry come to feed. For mine is a generation that circles the globe and searches for something we haven't tried before. So never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never fail to be polite and never outstay the welcome. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it. "
