I'm currently based in Spain for my studies and don't plan on returning to Montevideo until October 2026.

I am a social educator and I consider myself deeply committed to social causes, such as the right to migrate and the freedom to love whoever you choose. I'm an open-minded person who truly enjoys talking to and listening to others. I’m a calm person who prefers simple plans over massive tourist attractions. I’ve made great friends while traveling, which I think is one of the most beautiful things about moving around and exploring beyond Uruguay. As a feminist, I love connecting with other women and sharing life experiences. I always try to look for the kind and human side of the world, even when it seems hard to find

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m currently living in Spain, where I’m pursuing a Master’s degree at the University of Almería. I joined Couchsurfing to connect with locals who can show me the ropes and help me dive deeper into the region’s culture and lifestyle.

Meeting people from all corners of the globe has always been a dream of mine, and I'm loving every minute of it. I’ve realized that despite our differences, we have so much in common, which is the best part of traveling. Surfing has led me to some incredible experiences; I’ve stayed with amazing hosts in every country I’ve been to. It’s heartening to see just how kind and welcoming people are. To me, Couchsurfing truly is a home away from home.

I’m mainly interested in learning how people live in different cultures. I’m a huge cat lover and the proud cat mom of two beautiful "michis": Mabel and Miguelito.

I’m a big reader, with a focus on contemporary novels by women. I’m also a fan of movies and shows. I'm always down for a recommendation swap; I love sharing my favorites and discovering new ones from others.
