Hello! My friends call me Mariposa or Mari (Mar-ee) for short.

I’m a sociable and respectful nonprofit consultant, currently on sabbatical and traveling the world while working on my first book project.

Couchsurfing member since 2012 and lost access to my original account unfortunately.

At home, I’m very tidy and reserved, enjoy cooking and sharing meals and conversation. Outside, I stay active with hiking, biking, swimming, dancing, and yoga.

As a frequent traveler, I have all the relevant immunizations and am conscientious about staying healthy and keeping others safe during my travels. I have asthma and can’t stay with you if you smoke indoors. Otherwise, I’m pretty relaxed :)

As a life-long activist, I’ve worked with world leaders and organizations to secure equal rights and protections for women and Black and LGBTQ+ people.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge of communications, digital technology, and nonprofit management. I’d like to learn more languages (my Spanish is operational). I love sharing cooking recipes and occasionally healing massage.
