Overview
About Me
Third-culture-kid and anthropologist. I spend a lot of time thinking about people and learning about different cultures. I can communicate in five languages, although I'm better at some than others. I love to travel and meet new people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'll be traveling around Europe visiting friends and new places. Looking for places to rest my head along the way and cool folks to chill with.
Interests
Dancing, drumming, dreams, discovering new music, and discussing structural inequality. I also have a passion for Brazilian music and Black liberation.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music depends on how I'm feeling: Erykah Badu, Janelle Monae, Frank Ocean, Amy Winehouse, Novos Baianos, Seu Jorge, Maria Rita, Esperanza Spalding, Nneka, Lianne La Havas, Laura Mvula, Calle 13, Buena Vista Social Club, and on occasion Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen."
TV Shows: How to Get Away with Murder, Scandal, Orange is the New Black, Empire, Avatar the Last Airbender, and Charmed.
Books: Kindred, The Tunnel, The Butcher's Tales, Abarat, and One Hundred Years of Solitude.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed Machu Picchu after having been in bed sick for two days.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been known to teach both English and percussion, though never at the same time. I love to learn some of the local language wherever I travel, and I hope to share experiences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation, spontaneous dance parties, and some musical talents.
