My family and I are easy-going and plant-based. We can provide a cozy, plant-filled, minimalist, pet-free, clean home to share. We are creative and enjoy the healing arts of all kinds.

We prefer no alcohol or drug use inside our home, please! However, just because we aren't into it for ourselves, it doesn't mean we have any preferences when we're traveling or staying with you. You do you! We honor and respect your preferences. The same goes for food preferences. We do not cook meat in our home (and ask you do the same if you're visiting) and we prefer reduced/minimal consumption of animal products, however, we absolutely do not care what your preferences are in your own home if we come to stay! We choose to intermittent fast and eat plant-based for many reasons, which also include having certain food sensitivities. The only other information worth mentioning is that if you must cook with oils, we ask you use the hood vent extractor on HIGH, above the stove!

Unfortunately, my husband is allergic to dogs, and I'm allergic to cats. Our house is currently pet-free. At this time, it would be difficult for us to host pets. We also like plants and keeping the home clean to prioritize improved air quality. This means our home is mostly hardwood floors and we don’t have carpets to reduce collection of dirt, bacteria, dust, mold etc.

We can typically host guests for 1-3 days, no problem. I can host up to twice per month. We tend to host quite often, so getting your request in a few weeks in advance is ideal! We like to host guests who don't mind pitching in with house chores like sweeping when needed. ;) Tasks we appreciate having help with are: sweeping, clearing the dried dishes from the dishrack back to their spaces in the kitchen, emptying the small kitchen compost bin into the large city compost bin on outside near the house, and other small kitchens/common living space duties.
