Hi! We’re Lorik and Marit, and we love exploring the world together. Since 6 years we live in Rostock in northern Germany, right by the beautiful Baltic Sea. Spending time outdoors is very important to us. We enjoy walking through nature, being active, go surfing, doing yoga or acroyoga and simply having fun together.
Creativity plays a big role in our everyday lives, whether through painting, photography, videography, making music, or planning both small and big adventures. We’re also passionate about cooking and love discovering new vegan recipes from around the world.
We are 27 and 26 years old and currently studying at the University of Rostock to become teachers. Traveling together is something we truly value, as it allows us to step out of our comfort zones, learn new things, try different kinds of work, and meet new people in new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to meet new people and listen to their stories or learn new things. We often experienced so much kindness when we traveled and we want to do the same for other travellers. We think the best way to really get to know a place is to meet the people who live there. On our travels we always had the most unforgettable time when we met locals and connected with them. ✨

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in New Zealand in a van for 1/2 year🏔️🐚; build a van together in Germany and live in it almost every summer🚐🌅; sleep in a tent in the snow⛺️❄️
