My name is Marit and I'm from the Netherlands. I live with my parents and I have two brothers. I studied Art Therapy and graduated last September. After graduating I backpacked trough Norway for a month which was amazing. Now I'm about to travel to the USA in just a couple of days and I'm very excited!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I only just recently heard about couch surfing and I immediately thought it sounded very cool. It sounds like a fun way to travel and of course cheap.

Interests

I love traveling, of course :). I love to read and watch movies. I dance and I love skiing and snowboarding. I studied Art Therapy, so naturally I also like art.

I don't really like one particular type of music. I listen to almost anything. I love reading. I mostly read fantasy and science fiction. when it comes to movie I'll watch anything, I love all genres. I am a big fan of the television series Supernatural.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Bangladesh for three and a half months. I went there for research and volunteering. It was an amazing experience and I loved learning about and from a different country and culture.
