My name is Marit, I'm 23 years old and I've lived almost all my life in the south of Germany. I have quite a large family with a brother and two sisters alongside my parents and our two cats. Since I've started my studies, I've moved to Konstanz on the shore of Lake Constance. I've lived in France and in Dublin, Ireland for four months respectively and loved to learn more about those countries.

I love to travel but more often than not my budget won't allow for great trips to far-away places. A friend of mine told me about couchsurfing, because he has met great people and learned so much about the places he's been staying at, that I thought I wanted to try it myself.

Centres d'intérêt

I love books and I'm reading a lot. Other than that music is really important for me, I like to hum and sing to myself and I've also played the classical guitar for years. I also love languages, which is why I'm studying English and French to become a secondary school teacher. I also learned or started to learn several other languages because they just fascinate me. My third subject in my studies is history and that is at least as exciting as languages are, which means a lot ;)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

There are so many that I don't know how to choose, but at the moment I really like listening to Latin, Dancehall and Soul, although I also like Pop, Rock, Classical Music, HipHop etc.
I like comedies, also romantic movies and dramas and movies with lots of music in them like "Ray", one of my all-time favourites.
Some of the books that I have already read a dozen times are all of the Harry Potter books, the Lord of the Rings, Hunting and Gathering (Ensemble c'est tout) by Anna Gavalda, the Tintenherz trilogy by Cornelia Funke the books by Laurent Gounelle, but there are too many great books to list them all
