I'm a graduate student in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Utrecht. Currently I'm living in the beautiful town Førde in Norway to conduct research for my Master thesis on (traditional) handcrafts and artisanry.

Next to my studies I love to explore the surroundings; either by walking/ hiking, public transport, or being a perfect Dutchie, by bike! I really enjoy exploring new places and enjoying nature.

Other things I like:
- To read a good book, Historical novels are my favourite!
- To be creative. If I have some sparetime I like to paint or to draw. Since I got involved in a lot of knitting classes with old Norwegian women during my research in Førde; knitting sjawls is my current occupation ;)
- To chill and watch a movie or a series. Dull sitcoms are the best of course!
- To cook a nice meal, drink some wine, and meet up with friends
