ABOUT ME

Basically I'm just a down-to-earth girl that grew up at the countryside in the Netherlands (yes countryside is rare in the Netherlands, but it does exist) and therefore I love nature. But somehow big cities and great adventures seem to attrackt me very much too, so I want to see the world in all its facets.
As for my personality, I guess i'm really friendly and loyal, its usually pretty hard for me to see the negative things about people. I love partying and doing crazy stuff but on the other hand I'm also pretty much a science nerd.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is what you make it, nobody can do that for you. So live your own dream as much as you can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just finished my bachelors degree in biomedical sciences and now I want to travel around in the USA before I will continue with my masters.

兴趣

Sports (rowing and running are my favorites at the moment), hiking, books, watching movies on lazy days with my roommate, studying difficult medical stuff, drinking beer in our favourite bar and many other things.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the greatest things I have done so far was rowing over the Danube last summer for Amnesty International. We rowed from Vienna to Budapest (400 km) in seven days which was really awesome.
And I wish I could tell amazing stories about great travels all over the world. Unfortunately I have been studying for the past three years so I did not have the time/money. I planning on totally making this up to myself! :)
