Hello

My name is Marita, I am originally from Athens but I'm currently staying in Glasgow, Scotland attending a university course. I love travelling and meeting other people who are interested in theatre/art and social issues. I am currently travelling around Europe for the post part but I'm planning a trip to Asia this summer (2018).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I see it as an opportunity to meet interesting people and gain great experiences while travelling the world. I mean you have to be at least somewhat open minded to join couch surfing and let people stay at your place.
I enjoy getting an insight view of a city, getting to know the locals and the culture of the place. I mostly travel solo so I try to connect with people that can show me around the city and spend time together.

Interests

I love taking pictures as much as the next person and recently managed to afford my first DSLR and I'm excited to use it.
I also like to consider myself somewhat of a performer (acrobatics mostly) and I'm looking for a performing partner so if you happen to live in Glasgow or Edinburgh and feel like meeting up let me know.

Mostly greek hip hop bands but also Radiohead.

I'm not the biggest fan of movies. If I had to pick one it would have to be the Fall with Lee Pace

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to skydive last year which was amazing
I also got to pet a dolphin once. That was pretty nice.
