Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even though I would consider myself more of an introvert I realized while traveling solo, that I genuinely enjoy to meet local people and spend time together, exploring the place or cooking and chatting together!

Interests

I enjoy nature, so hiking, cycling or going out with a dog is always great.
I listen to a bunch of music and I like to play the Bagpipes and I am learning how to play guitar.
I am a software developer, so talking about it and learning from others is always appreciated.
Now and then I like to read a book, watch a series or movie

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to go to Belarus every year as a volunteer for humanitarian projects. We built houses in clean areas for families, which still lived in the polluted areas of Chernobyl.
Also I fostered about 11 dogs during covid, which was an amazing experience :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

My stories, friendly conversations, cooking together, dog walking, babysitting (I am an uncle of six), handyman work around the house and so on
