Hi!
We are Kasia &Mariusz, a couple of students from Poland. We actually start our adventure with travelling but we are endlessly hungry to see more and more! :D We have recently visited Lviv, Prague and Majorca and are waiting for another adventure. We would be more than happy to meet more people like us in different countries and with different language and culture but with the same urge to see how beautiful the world is!

Kasia: I'm 23 and studying Environmental Engineering in Cracow, AGH - Univesity of Science and Technology. I come from an industrial region called Silesia. I've been travelling since I was a child, cause my parents love it too. I dream about seeing New Zealand, publishing a book and learning to play the guitar. I love taking pictures.

Mariusz: I'm 25 years old graduate from AGH - Univesity of Science and Technology. I grew up below the biggest polish mountains, Tatras. To be honest I am a newbie if it comes to long- distance journeys but I intend to develop this new passion with my beloved.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to see the world without robbing a bank. We don't believe that we have to be rich to travel, meet new cultures and amazing people with even more amazing stories. What is more, we think that couchsurfing lets us do it all in the best way possible - because we can find a true spirit of a new place, we can practice languages, share experience, learn history and culture, see how different (or how similar) life can be on the other part of the world. We cannot find those things in any hotel.

I totally love The Lord of the Rings' and Harry Potter's world, books, films and music.
Music: Coldplay, Florence and The Machine, Pink Floyd, Queen, Adele, P!nk, Imagine Dragons, Led Zeppelin, Myslovitz (cool polish band). I also like classical music, soundtracks and songs from children movies.
Films: Inception, Shawshand Redemption, Mulan, About Time, The Godfather, Alice in Wonderland, Skyfall, Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Brian's Life, Now is Good, Pirates of the Caraibbean, Die Hard 4
Books: too much, really
TV series: Friends, Sherlock, Glee

Mariusz:

Films: Aliens Horror Films, Predator Saga, Matrix trilogy, Bollywood movies., About Time, I am legend and much much more, too much to bring up all of them
Books: Witcher saga by Sapkowski, Inheritance Trilogy by Paolini, Harry Potter saga by Rowling, all books of Conan saga by Howard, Demon Cycle Series by Peter V. Brett.
TV series: Game of Thrones, Stranger things, Legend of the Seeker, Black Mirror.
We both love singing.
