Overview
About Me
I'm a passionate artist-designer trying to establish myself professionally.
I was born in Lviv, Ukraine and moved to Toronto at the age of 8. At 22 I moved across the world to South Korea to teach English and started my own 'school of art'. I currently moved back to Toronto to pursue a career as a painter/art teacher.
Traveling the world helped me find what I truly love and want to do. It enriched me with knowledge about culture, people, food, and broadened my perspective on what being a 'human' is really about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My journey is ongoing and I am just at my peak of traveling to various cities and exploring this beautiful, blue ball of water, land, and mountains.
One of the best ways I learn about an area is through interaction with locals. Couch surfing has just that. I want to meet people who can tell me about their city or town and throw some knowledge in my direction. I love to share my experiences and what I've learned with other people as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music depends on my mood, on 8tracks my tags are: chill, mellow, classical, jazz, alternative + 80's rock.
Movies: anything comedy, psychological thriller, documentary
Books: mostly non-fiction. however I like Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Master and Margarita by Bulgakov. My recent reads were read all of the GOT books + the girl with the dragon tattoo series. Pretty good stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
move across the world to a strange land, learn he language, start my own art school and 'find myself' including the man of my dreams. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
We all smile in one language.
Language, Religion and Culture may differentiate us, but I've come to learn all people are the same; we want the same things, we feel the same things, we all share a similar sense of humour and just want to pursue happiness, knowledge and a comfortable life.
