I’m more interested in everyday life than in typical tourist attractions.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a big part of my life, even though I don’t play or sing myself.
I mostly listen to post-punk, rock and different kinds of indie music in many languages.
I love discovering new sounds and often explore languages and cultures through music.

I’m more into series than films and enjoy watching them during cozy evenings when I have time.
I don’t read a lot of fiction — most of my reading is academic, related to my university studies in Earth sciences and Sinology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I first moved to Europe and started traveling, I stayed with wonderful hosts in Germany.
We even celebrated Christmas together, which is a very warm and meaningful memory for me.
I often travel by staying with people – mostly friends or acquaintances, and sometimes through Couchsurfing.
These experiences taught me how important trust, respect and feeling comfortable in a shared space are.

I enjoy learning how people live, eat and experience everyday life in different places.
I’ve been a tutor for 7 years and for the last 4 years I’ve been teaching German, so I’m happy to share language practice in a relaxed way.
