About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience new places and live life fully, and to continue to make music and love the world around me. Inspiration from others who have made their dreams come true is always a plus.

ABOUT ME

Presently in the States before heading back to New Zealand where I'll be looking to find a cozy nook and settle for a bit. I love working out doors, cooking and enjoying life-giving food. I'm a freelance graphic design artist and a musician who is still climbing out of her shell. Excited about every step.

PHILOSOPHY

I am not a human being in search of a spiritual experience, but a spiritual being in search of human experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had good experiences, looking forward to more.

Interests

I have a dream/a desire I'm working towards. Allowing my self all of the necessary steps in between, I strive to be the best person I can be, following my heart and being honest with the world around me and most importantly honest with my self. Travel and experience is my present calling so I'm listening. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

(2012 post) I hitch-hiked and then bicycle-rode down the west coast of the US alone over the course of 3 months. I slept alone in a forest and discovered that the mossy ground glowed in the dark. I also met an almost-homeless family and helped them build an apartment out of an unused garage. The sun and rain couldn't be described in a few sentences, but from this trip I began to find my voice and my spirit. The trip continues now, as I traverse the streets of India.

(Present 2016) I've co-existed with huge Kodiak brown bears (living remotely at my Fish & Game job) and have been inspired more than ever by salmon swimming upstream to spawn who continue even if their eyes or parts of their body are missing!

I've loved a man that led my life to be split between two hemispheres. I've woken up to pink sunrise colors on the snow-topped Himalayas.
