About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Procrastinate growing up

ABOUT ME

A big part of my time is occupied by my study, veterinary medicine. Only a coupl more months until I can call myself a vet! The remainder of my time I love to watch movies, go for walks in the nature, eat and cook with friends, go for a run, read a book or surf the internet. Of course I like to travel as well, but my busy study schedule and the absence of a money tree on my tiny balcony makes it sometimes hard. Luckily there are always places nearby worth visiting!

PHILOSOPHY

If you don't start doing something nothing will get done ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host if I can and I love to meet fellow couchsurfer and/or surf their couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love it, I've been places I would have never been on my own (a traditional Mardi Grass celebration in a tiny village) or slept at places I would never have dreamt of sleeping (the Hilton for starters!). And off course I have met many wonderful people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies like: 500 Days of Summer, Juno, Garden State, Where the Wild Things Are, Paper Hearts etc

Books like: Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, De overgave (and other books by the Dutch author Arthur Japin), The curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, One Day etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Petting tame wolves in Bulgaria was amazing.

Showering in a waterfall is very refreshing!

Also having your path crossed by a wild tortoise is fascinating...

Hiking up the highest mountain of Costa Rica was a beautiful challenge.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will be able to teach you a lot about animals from a veterinarians perspective. Also I will be able to teach you about the Dutch culture.
