Marjolaine - currently in Paris :
Who am I? My name is Marjolaine, I'm 27 years old and I'm working in an engineering school specialised in agronomy and food processing! I'm the third child in my family, there are 7 of us in total at home, so I can assure you that I have a sense of sharing and cohabitation!

What do I do besides my job? I am a very dynamic person, I love travelling, meeting people, I like singing, reading, doing sports... A lot of things! And mind you, I love to cook! I'm ready to make you some good French food :)

Where do I come from? I lived in the countryside in a small village called Sagy, 1h30 from Paris! So you might as well say that I know the fields and the mud! I also lived 6 months in Brazil for my studies and 7 months across USA and Canada, I know very well how to adapt to another culture.

Where do I live? I live in Paris, with friends, I like to share my place to give back what I received during all my travels.

Aurélien - currently in Vietnam :
Who am I? I am Aurélien, 26. I graduated with an computer science degree last year. I am currently working in a parisian startup as a DevOps engineer (basically, I keep servers running). I like tech stuff, music in general, having debates over current issues in the world, I like all types of food...

What do I do besides my job? I spend time on my phone scrolling tiktok of course haha... JK, I do a lot of sports (my latest focus is to run a 10k in sub-45min) and I do a lot of cooking (recently, I am trying to learn more about portuguese cuisine).

Where do I come from? Near Paris. I studied there until I turned 19, then I move to Lyon for my Master (studied engineering) for 4 years before coming back to Paris. I visited a lot of countries as a tourist, but I prefer enjoying life abroad like a local, that's why I am using couchsurfing to discover new things and meet more people,

Where do I live? I also live in Paris, you can ask me about restaurant/bar recommendation in Paris because I have a lot and I would love to share with you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To remind you : we are two on this account : Marjolaine (me) and my boyfriend (Aurélien).

I (Marjolaine) used couchsurfing on big trip to the US and Canada. My main activity was woofing but when I needed accommodation from time to time during my travels, I had this app. Now, I travel a lot with my boy friend so we have this account to meet people and to host some of you.

We love to cook so we can make dinner for you ;)

When requesting accommodation, we ask you to write ‘Cookies’ at the end of your message - this allows us to see if you have read the description of our account.

Regarding house rules, we live in a shared house with Jeanne and Enguerrand. For security reasons, you can't stay in the flat without us. You will therefore have to adapt to our working hours or activities.
