Gosh how do I write this without it reading like a dating site profile.. Ha! Well I'm a good natured, optimistic, friendly woman who lives in a Tiny House in the city of Alkmaar, the Netherlands, with my two cats. No that does not make me a cat lady.. ;) I started my own company in 2016, giving lectures and workshops about the Tiny House movement and I am co-founder and project manager of the Tiny House Netherlands foundation. I write about my experiences in living in an off-grid bio-based Tiny House on my blog www.marjoleininhetklein.com. Other than that, I love music and sing in a band with a couple of my friends. And I play Dungeons and Dragons with a group of friends every other week, it's a tabletop role playing game (no computers, no dressing up ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling, but am horrible in saving up money to do so. Now that I have my own company I still am not making a fortune but I do want to see more of the world, I like travelling by myself and meet new people abroad. I think couchsurfing might be a great way to do both! Let's give it a try :)
