ABOUT ME

I'm a student from the Netherlands and I am currently living in Brazil to do a research for my master's degree, about a sport & development project in São Paulo. Of course, I also want to see some more of this amazing country, which I already fell in love with the first moment I arrived.

PHILOSOPHY

I like being flexible, being able to open your plans and enjoy spontaneous situations! Because life is not always how you planned it would be :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got in contact with Couch Surfing through my housemate and friend Amanda, who travelled a lot with help of couch surfers and told me her enthusiastic stories. While we lived together, she hosted some couch surfers in our house, and we had a really good time with them! So now I want to try being a couch surfer too :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm in the beginning of my couch surf - career, but because I met some cool couch surfers and I heard the positive experiences of my friends, I would like to try it too!

Interests

I like good times with your friends, a cool drink in the sun, playing my harp, theatre, good movies or books, a cup of tea, dancing till the sun comes up, Koninginnedag in the Netherlands, Fallas in Valencia, garden-dinners with my housemates in summer, Sinterklaas with secret poems, and of course: traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Ben Howard, Damien Rice, Lianne La Havas, India Arie to listen at home and to dance I like latin music! Books I like a lot, too much to list, and too little time to read them all!
