ABOUT ME

People call me open-minded, laid back and fun to be with. my goal is to make people smile and have a good time. love to cook, read, bike, chat or watch a movie.
i caught the travelling bug in australia where i was an au pair for 7 months. after that i ended up working in fashion(?) for a year and then ended up exploring central america with a 5-week break to Canada and New York. After the cultural shock that came with coming home, I decided to hop on the plane again and spend 3 more months in South America before starting school again...

coming across so many lovely people it seems hard to keep up all the networking, but i have a profile on facebook now. I crave adventure and love photography. i used to work in theatre and arts, but have given it up. i have a lovely family in Holland with parents, a younger sister and an older brother. i love animals and nature.

PHILOSOPHY

-do it today! tomorrow it could be taxed and, or illegal.
-expect nothing, accept everything. (this has really helped me not to get disapointed in life. just live. do look ahead and back... analyse, contemplate and make the right decisions.)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Firstly I started as a surfer, so I could ecnomically find places to sleep in Canada. Nowadays I have my own place in Rotterdam and would love to start hosting people here and share the 'real' Holland-experience!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed two couches in Toronto, Canada and had a blast! such nice guys and very hospitable! New Ýork was almost impossible to find a couch, but I would like to able people to experience a Dutch city easily!

Algo increíble que he hecho

the two best things i have ever done were to leave for australia on my own, just turned 19, to run a household with two kids and two dogs in the bush. the second is volunteering with wildlife in a group of young volunteers in Costa Rica and after that travelling on for another 8 months...
