My objective is to create links with other people, learn thing from them and make them learn from me.

ABOUT ME

I like reading, listening to music and singing, going to the cinema. I like going out with friends but not too much. I also like staying at home to relax, watch tv or even to enjoy a good book!I love the smell of paper, the sound of words. Nothing equals a good read! I am very much interested in other cultures and I would spend a whole night chatting about life in general in front of a good drink! I love travelling and making the people I love discover foreign countries. I love speaking and learning foreign languages, it is a real passion.(I have started learning Irish recently)
I would like to travel all over the world and make new friends!

PHILOSOPHY

One must seize every opportunity in one's life because life is too short! We have a wonderful planet with wonderful people and things to discover, so what's the use of staying at home?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you book a hotel room before going abraod, you hardly ever have the time to create links with anyone. The staff of the hotel are there to make you feel confortble but it is their job. Thanks to this project, you can meet people who share things with you and make you feel cozy because they want to. It's a wonderful idea and I am glad if I can participate and help this project be a real success!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only experience was in Ennis, Co Clare, Ireland. My "landlady" did not really want to talk to me, she wasn't very friendly but just poilte and very formal. She only talked during the meal. I was a bit disappointed because I like exchanging things with people. She admitted that it was just a business, she was paid to have me in her house.

Interests

I am interested in travelling, languages, reading, theaters, going out to have a drink with friends. I definitely LOVE singing. I love going out at night with friends when I get the opportunity to sing (also helps with a few drinks!)I also like ethnic music(particularly Irish music) I also enjoy staying at home at night to talk and sing...

I like jazz music, country music, pop rock, Irish music, Jacques Brel (a Belgian singer), Edith Piaf, music from the 50's and 60's...these are my favourite types of music but I like a bit of everything actually...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'll always keep a wonderful memory of Canada and the United States: the Indian reserves in particular. These people are fantastic and with them you can really learn a new philosophy of life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn more about the countries I'll visit. I want to share the life of people I meet, have a feeling of-somehow- belonging to a communitu, even for a short time. When I travel abroad, I always bring something back with me- a different point of view on things, new ideas, etc. and I like the idea that the people I meet learn something about my country and my personal history. I like to create links with others because we can learn so much from each other. It helps us grow up in a way.
