ABOUT ME

I am a Canadian (Québécoise) woman who just finished law school and the bar school. I am currently a masters student in international law and look forwards to work in the international human rights field. I am really interested in meeting new people and learn more about other cultures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted unofficially 2 friends from Germany during Summer 2012 with my roommate of the time, Laurence, in Montréal. It was an awesome experience and I wish I could do it again! And be hosted as well when it's my time to travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted Félix and Amélie with my roommate Laurence when we lived in Montreal. We had very nice discussions about their life in Germany and their trips here in Quebec :)

I have also had an amazing experience in Malaysia , going to the CS weekly meetups, meeting wonderful friends and going on a weekend roadtrip with some of them :)

兴趣

Sport (running, cycling, boxing, hiking, rock climbing, and any outdoor activities - I love to try new sports). I have also started scuba diving in 2014 and I am addicted!!!

Movies: I love documentaries because I learn a lot of new things while watching them. I also love romantic comedies and I cried my heart out over The Notebook and Message in a Bottle.

Music: Alt-J, The Lumineers, City and Color, Fred Pellerin, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Jean Leloup, Les Colocs, Cat Stevens, The Black Keys, Ben Howard, Mumford and Sons, Radical Face, Alexandre Poulin, Vincent Vallières, Patrick Watson... I love almost anything but I would say that the artists that I most listen to right now all have a folk or indie twist.

Books: I love to read political, historical, philosophical books, but I also enjoy novels from time to time.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Seen: the St-Lawrence river, the whales, and the beautiful sunsets when I lived in Baie-Comeau. La Côte-Nord and le Bas-du-Fleuve are, in my point of view, some of the most beautiful places to go in Quebec, if you don't mind the distance...

Also, solidarity is one of the most beautiful things to see, if you pay attention to it!

Done: extreme sports like bungee, outdoor free-fall simulator, paragliding, trapezium... In short, I'm working very hard on achieving my Bucket List!

Teach: French. English, at least basics. I would love to learn more Spanish.

I can discuss about my province's history, culture and this way maybe we can learn at the same time if you do the same with me!

I can tell you a bit about Quebec's justice system as I have spent 3 years in University studying it, even if I'm not yet a lawyer.
