I am a Sailor so i have 'travelled' extensively over the last 15 years. If you could call it that. I usually spend 9months onboard and around 5mos. in land on vacation while waiting for my next ship. I am basically unemployed when at home so i have a lot of downtime for to travel and maybe host.

I love going to remote beaches, hidden waterfalls, diving spots and enjoy the peace and quiet. If you too are into those things, let's go!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I read about couchsurfing and i thought, wow, that's cool. I travel a lot so i want to meet like minded people. I have recently built a home and i have a spare room so why not.

兴趣

I used to love reading when i was younger because i was kind of a nerd, i had very few friends. But not so much anymore. Too many distractions. Also, i have a life now. Yes kids, it gets better. I discovered surfing 8 years ago and i have been hooked. I know the good surfing and diving spots in my neighborhood so i always go, whenever i can. I prefer going to places taking the roads less traveled and if i could do it with people who feel the same way, cool. I live 20 minutes away from Naga City, by the way.

I have circumnavigated the world 5 times, atleast. I stopped keeping track. It's work related, but still..
I almost hit a coalition forces submarine in the Strait of Hormuz but was told to get out of her way so i did!

I can show you around Bicol, my home town. I know the good surfing spots. Diving spots, beaches, waterfalls. I can share local insights and experience. Mum's food and maybe some of my cooking too if i wake up to the right side of the bed some days.
