About Me

I am from Littleton CO, a small suburb outside of Denver. I grew up loving the outdoors! I love to camp, hike, ski, rock climb, etc. Pretty much anything that can get me out of the city and into the mountains!

I am currently unemployeed, and traveling to Oregon. My girlfriend Emily and I are hoping to find an amazing place to live there where I can get a wood shop started. I want to build custom furniture, do lathe turning, and build custom drum sets.

I have been a drummer my whole life, and therefore love to surround myself with the music scene. I am always looking for new bands to listen to and new shows to go see. I love pretty much every kind of music, but being a drummer I lean more towards funk and jammy types of music.

Em and I also love to cook! We believe that a healthy diet supports a healthy life style. We enjoy trying new things, and cooking the home favorites. I by no means am a professional at the gig, however I'd go far enough to say that I haven't cooked a meal that wasn't enjoyable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm joining couchsurfing for two reasons.

The first reason is that Em and I are currently on a road trip to explore the West of the U.S. as we move to Oregon. We decided to take a few months off work and travel around to see new places before we settle down somewhere new. We love to experience new places and cultures. I want to use couchsurfing during this trip to meet up with some locals of the areas we are visiting. We are going to be camping for the most part, but a couch and a shower every once in a while would be very nice! We also love to meet new people and share experiences of life.

The second reason I'm joining is to offer a home for other travelers to stay once I am in a stable location. I love hearing stories from other travelers, and sharing the stories I have as well.
