I'm a 31 year old wandering Dutch guy, who's been away from home for the last 2 years now. The first year was spend traveling around Asia. The second year I moved to Shanghai and worked as an English teacher.

I've lived in the Netherlands for most of my life but in 2007 I decided to go backpacking around New Zealand.

BEST YEAR EVER!

After that, I've not been able to get rid of the traveler's bug and have traveled to many exciting locations. I always wanted to do another big trip and that's why I'm on the road once more!

I'm traveling around Asia and my final destination; Australia.
I love meeting fellow travelers, locals and foreigners living abroad as they'll have the best stories and know a lot about the area they live in (duhhhh)

I love staying with the locals as that's the best way to experience the local way of living.

I hope I can meet some awesome new people, make some new friends and one day return the favor of being a host to them back home.

I love running and football, I'm a movie nut and avid gamer, love listening to music and keen on reading a book now and then.
