Hi, my name is Mark. I grew up in the London area of England before starting to travel at the age of 18. I travelled around the world and worked in places like Ibiza, New Zealand, Canada, Hong Kong and Thailand to support myself. In the latter 2 countries I worked as a TEFL teacher, the last appointment being at The British Council in Hong Kong.

After living for more than 20 Years in Australia I am travelling again, mainly in South America. I'm interested to meet new people, to learn their language, particularly Spanish and Portuguese, learn about their culture and their general views on life.

I have eclectic interests. I love music, particularly live music. I read a lot and love historical novels. I keep fit with swimming, running, cycling and a few other activities. I have many friends who I love to meet up with over a coffee or a stronger beverage. I love people and to have good conversations. I also love to party, to dance and have a good time.
