I'm a Ph.D. student at WVU in biology, studying the forests of central Appalachia! I also play hockey, run a bit (used to run more), fool around on guitar (yes I'm pretty bad), and love being outside (WV is good for that), among other things. Into craft beer, particularly awesome IPAs... there are a couple great beers in town here!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Played a pick-up hockey game at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit (where the Red Wings play). Was a big group of people from all over the place (coordinated through reddit), and it was a blast.
