About Me

I’m a music producer and songwriter currently based in Zhuhai. I live on a creative's schedule. I’m naturally a night owl; I find my rhythm in the late hours and usually start my day while the rest of the world is already mid-afternoon. Because of this, I’m a very independent guest—I tend to do my own thing during the day and hit my social peak in the evenings.

My personality is a bit dual. I have a high "social battery" that I love to recharge at local Irish pubs or lively bars. I enjoy the unfiltered energy of meeting strangers over a drink. However, I’m equally comfortable in my own company. On my quieter days, you’ll find me:
* Seeking out high-quality (but not necessarily "fancy") food at clean, well-curated restaurants.
* Wandering through a museum or enjoying a spa.
* Decompressing at a cinema or staying in to produce music and games.

I’m a low-maintenance, perceptive person who values quality over noise. I’m not the type to rush through a city to see everything; I’d much rather find one excellent meal, a quiet museum, or a great conversation at a bar and call it a day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a songwriter and producer, I’ve always found that the best stories don’t come from books; they come from people. I believe that every new person you meet is a lesson waiting to be learned, and I often find that the "strangers" I meet abroad influence the music I compose back home.

Since I work entirely from my own studio, I’ve recently embraced the freedom to travel more frequently. I’m on here because:
* Fresh Perspectives: I love stepping out of my comfort zone and hearing life stories that are completely different from my own.
* Social Energy: While I value my introverted creative time, I genuinely enjoy the spark of meeting someone new over a drink or a meal.
* Authentic Connection: Beyond just seeing the sights, I’m looking for those "real" moments—whether it’s a deep conversation at a local bar or just learning how someone else navigates their corner of the world.

For me, Couchsurfing isn't just about a place to stay; it’s a way to keep my creative battery charged through human connection.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music
As a producer, my ears are always open, but my heart lives in the world of Pop, R&B, and Soul. I’m particularly drawn to the production styles and melodies of J-pop, K-R&B, and Alternative R&B.

Movies & TV
My absolute favorite movie is La La Land—I’m a sucker for that mix of music, bittersweet storytelling, and great visuals.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The "Night Owl" Perspective: If you’re a fellow late-night person, I’m great for a 2:00 AM deep-dive conversation or a late-night drink. If you’re an early bird, I’m the "ghost guest"—I’ll be out of your way and quiet while you start your day.

Food & Drink Curation: I’m happy to scout out the best-hidden places, well-vibe restaurants, or a great cocktail bar to share a drink at.

A Chill Vibe: I’m very comfortable in my own skin. Whether we are heading out for a social night or just hanging out at home playing video games or watching a movie, I’m easygoing and respect your space as much as my own.
