About Me
HI there, am a 26-year old guy from Singapore but am currently based in London, United Kingdom working in advertising. I work long hours and rarely have time to myself for recreation, but on the odd chance that I do take my days of annual leave, I love travelling out of London to nearby European cities or just around the UK in general.
I love travel, I love food, I love a good drink, love meeting new people, love exploring cities and culture, and love anything to do with the arts e.g. theatre, music, dance festivals etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people - plain and simple. I love exchanging stories and making new friends and most of all meeting other fellow human beings. I believe CSers are very special and very different from most travellers. I think we're very compassionate, we are respectful and we all come from so many different backgrounds and have our own stories to tell.
I don't get to travel very often, but hopefully through CS I get to travel the world through meeting people from all over the world. (:
When I'm in London, I'm always happy to meet up with anyone for a drink or coffee just to chat. Feel free to let me know and I'm more than happy to try and show you about as well! (:

I love going off the beaten track. You know that feeling when you get lost in a city and you aren't sure where you are and you don't speak the language? I love that feeling, and 8 times out of 10, I usually continue walking instead of taking out my phone to find my way using Google Maps.
I love travelling like I still don't have a smartphone. Travelling's exciting that way. (:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Relocated to London three years ago with absolutely no friends and also having never been to Europe at all. It was a bold step to do so for work, but I am super glad I made the leap.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm from Singapore originally so my heart is still 100% asian. I love Asian food and am happy to teach you some super simple recipes and to even cook a meal for you as well!
That said, having lived in the UK for just over two years, I know a couple of recipes from the country and am happy to cook that for you instead if you're not interested in Asian good. (:
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cook, so am happy to cook a simple meal in exchange. And I like to bring something from London to my hosts that they might not ordinarily be able to find in Paris.
I'm clean, and I'm very mindful of peoples' habits and schedules so I'll be as much of a fly on the wall as possible.
I'm good company (especially with a drink or two in me), so if hosts wanna hang out, that's cool. I was born and bred in Singapore so I know Asia pretty well. So am always happy to swap travel tips with hosts if they're interested.
