I am a sixth grade teacher, Brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt, martial artist, and Yoga instructor with an Anusara Hatha Yoga background. My degree was Buddhist Studies for my Masters, although I personally study Kashmir Shavism as well. I am a huge Tony Robbins fan. I am married and have two kids.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am attending a three day super course with the peak performance coach Tony Robbins called Unleash the Power Within. I've done one of his courses before so I know that we hardly sleep and spend most of our day at the event. I really just need a place to crash from a very long day of screaming and studying. Interests

Buddhism, Kashmir Shaivism Tantra, Hinduism, meditation both mindfulness and mantra based, most forms of Yoga although I really like Iyengar, Anusara, and Ashtanga, and of course BRAZILIAN Jiujitsu and MMA. I'm currently writing a book on the subject.
