Présentation
À propos de moi
I'm a graduate student finishing up my Masters in Electrical Engineering focused on electrical power and renewable energy. I enjoy traveling, particularly when I get to meet people along the way! I'm currently on exchange from the University of Illinois (UIUC) to the Royal Technical Institute (KTH) in Sweden.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is far and away the best way to travel to different parts of the world! I have just been visiting friends in the UK in March and being able to see what life is like as someone who lives locally is so cool! It allows me (the traveler) to really get engaged with the place I'm in and learn interesting and fun things to do and see while around. :)
Centres d'intérêt
First and foremost, I love my Lord and savior Jesus Christ! He died so that you and I could live, and I am most grateful for that!
I enjoy walking and cycling around cities. Cycling is such a great way to experience a new place! If you haven't tried it, do it!
I enjoy learning about personal finance and living a minimalist lifestyle. I think it is very possible to have everything you could think you want and still be unhappy. Money and stuff is not the answer.
I love trying out new things! While I do think that constantly seeking out new experiences can be just as bad as any other form of consumerism, I look forward to new experiences. Especially those that don't cost anything!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I listen to a lot of christian worship music and electronic music. Royksopp is a favorite band which I often use to start music radio! I enjoy reading from time to time, but wish I read more!
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I got to volunteer my time to help restore the lights that were no longer working at a community center near Lake Victoria in Kenya. I was there for seven weeks and found that the problem which had been quoted to be fixable with a $900 budget by a local electrician, was actually just a single cut wire. I was able to use that budget to then outfit the community center with new lights, electrical outlets, and setup a media projector now being used to teach locals computer literacy.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I could tell you all about personal finance and investing, the history of Christianity and other world religions, renewable energy, and probably some more stuff I can't think of right now... :D
