Im Mark Hoefnagel, I'm actually 17 years old, so yeah I had to lie about my age to sign up for couchsurfing, but soon I'll be 18 years old, and I'm ready to couchsurf the world. I'm from Tollebeek, a small village near the fishing town of Urk where my family is from. At Urk (we say at because it was an island in the past) we speak in a dialect, which I can speak Urkers too. I play the piano, love to game, Battlefield 4 company of heroes 2 and being my favorite games. I also play in a soccer team in Tollebeek as a defender. I'm teachting myself a bit of guitar. I like to build scale model dioramas and ships, I've built the H.M.S Victory on a 1:90 scale for example. I like to go out windsurfing with my uncle.
I live in a family of 6, Mom, Dad, my brother and two sisters, one of them is my twinsister. I am raised a christian, no I'm not the Quaker kind :P But I do believe in Jesus Christ although I don't think I'm saved yet. I havent been travelling without my parents or school before and this summer (2016) it will be my first time to travel alone with a friend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I will be travelling almost the whole summer in 2016, and me and my friend (he's also on couchsurfing) Menno Visser want to stay at peoples places who live in the city's we're going to visit. I also really love to get more travelling experience and cant wait to see more of this world we live on and meet its diverse amount of people. As I said this will be my first time travelling alone with a friend and I hope couchsurfing will help contribute to my experience with it. I really hope to get some great memories from couchsurfing.
