About Me
I'm currently in my last year of studying law in university in England. I have a keen interest in expanding my knowledge of the world, and what better way than to travel around it!?
In the future my ambition is to be a human rights lawyer, so I focus my travelling around gaining an insight into how locals live everywhere I go. I feel it is the best way to gain a true perspective of the world, rather than going to a few touristic spots.
Whilst I'm new to the idea that is couchsurfing, I am certain it is exactly what I am looking for. My first experience in Cali was amazing and I hope to continue that trend through the rest of Colombia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing to meet like minded people, who are willing to share their cultural experiences with me, whilst allowing me to share a few with them.
Interests
Whilst I mention that my ambition is to become a human rights lawyer, more specifically I am fascinated by inequality, and what I can do to help combat it. Politics also intrigues me, whilst it frustrates me like it does to so many.
On a lighter note I am a very sporty person, having played rugby, cricket, football and squash. I feel it's a great way to relieve stress and meet new people. However don't ask if I can swim, because embarrassingly the saying about Irish guys not being able to float is very true in my case!
However possibly what is more important is that the Irish stereotype of being fun and loving a good night out definitely applies to me. I can guarantee that if you come out with me you will have a good night, and you will see dance moves you thought were impossible.
