Our planet and our universe fascinate, confuse and inspire me in about equal measure, and I am a very firm believer that we are part of it ourselves.

Officially middle-aged, unofficially somewhere between 12 and middle-aged, depending on circumstances, I am very open to new experiences and places, having been privileged enough to have visited, lived in and enjoyed lots over the years.

My favourite pastimes involve exploring new places, mostly outdoors, mostly natural, but there is something intriguing anywhere if you are looking the right (or the wrong!) way.

O love meeting varied people, seeing and discussing the world! I have always enjoyed unplanned travel and adventures, usually cycle-camping, but also by trains, planes, automobiles and boats :)
I have also enjoyed some more 'conventional' trips with family of course.
