Thank you for reading! I am excited to introduce myself to you and for you to be introduced to myself.

I am a young man from America born in Arizona, whose main goal in life is to serve the Lord with all my heart, soul mind and strength. I enjoy learning languages, exercising, stretching before exercising, and working hard at my job. If I stay with you, I want to tell you all I know about my culture, my experiences, and random trivia about the state of Oregon. (I can also fix your cellphone if needed)

I was born in Flagstaff Arizona, where I lived til' 11 years of age, from there I moved to southern Ohio where I grew up until the age of 19, at which point I was directed by the Lord to move to Portland, where I currently bike, play, love God and eat a lot of fruit (more about the fruit later).

I was raised around animals, and have had many diverse experiences feeding, watering, healing and playing with animals. They were very certainly my main source of company growing up and will always hold a hairy place in my heart.

I am very fond of eating, but I want to eat only healthy food. As a biker and a young man I probably burn about 3500 calories a day. Therefore, If I am with you, I expect you to know the cheap-but-great restaurants in your city that we can go to. (This is very important!)

Finally, I should mention that I have experience with the organization WWOOF (world wide opportunities on Organic Farms), a very similar enterprise to Couchsurfing and understand that mutual respect and responsibility are necessary to both of our enjoyments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to use this service to stay with and meet people from other countries.

Particularly, I want to understand them, in order to better serve people via the Gospel concerning Jesus Christ. I want to know what blesses people, what challenges them, and how I can help them.

In addition, I want to be a frugal person so that I can have more discretionary income. I am not a high-income individual, but still want to have the chance to visit these places I so admire.

However, I don't want to treat you like a hotel, and you are more than within your rights to ask for help with chores.
