Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Have both a Professional and military background.
Always generally travelled solo, which can make accommodation not fully ideal.
Pretty self sufficient and low maintenance, will have sleeping bag, pillow and towel, so anyone that is kind enough to offer a couch, bed, piece of carpet is much appreciated.

I love to meet new people because I like to get to know about other countries, cultures, etc.

It's the best way to get impressions of another country and the life there explained by locals.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I definitely don't expect a handout and can pay my own way, happy to provide food for you and cook wherever possible.
Can also 'try' to fix or repair any truck/car/bike/engine anything mechanical if you have the parts, and space/tools etc.
Love all animals and can walk or look after your pets however long wherever you are, I have no real schedule and just want to trek and travel Usa/Canada/Europe wherever it takes me.
