I am a biology student at Indiana University who is stoked on traveling the world and meeting new people. I have been on a gap semester this spring and have been using this time to study graphic design in Florence, Italy. I looove a good cup of coffee followed by a nice bike ride and want to encourage sustainable living in whatever I pursue.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I am moving to San Francisco to intern in food sustainability and there is a week long period in which I will have be homeless as of now. I arrive in SF on May 13th and am not able to move into my house until the 22nd. Just looking for a place to stay for those days and would love to meet some good people in the process!

Music might be my favorite thing in the world. I love too much of it to narrow it down, but I'll do the best I can. I grew up on the oldies such as Dylan, The Beatles, The Stones, Velvet Underground, Neil Young, etc. I still love the oldies but have also developed a taste for alt-rock, indie rock, jazz, lo-fi jazz-hop, folk, and much more. Some of my favorite bands now are probably The Strokes, Fleet Foxes, My Morning Jacket, War on Drugs, Beirut, Hot Hot Heat, and Kevin Morby. I love so much more though!

Don't wanna write a whole essay, but I also love movies and books. Just watched through The Office for the first time and it couldn't be more perfect!

Also, currently reading a collection of essays by David Foster Wallace that are brilliant, but Kurt Vonnegut and Hemingway will always be some of my favorite authors!

Took a gap semester from school to study graphic design in Florence, Italy! Had an amazing time enjoying the Italian espresso and cycling through the hills of Tuscany as well.
